ACTion Community Theatre: Auditions for James and the Giant Peach
ACTion Community Theatre’s is holding open auditions for its Summer half-term production of Roald Dahl’s popular story ‘James and the Giant Peach’
Adapted for stage by David Wood, Roald Dahl’s well loved story follows orphan James Henry Trotter, who is sent to live with his horrid Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge. He hasn’t got a single friend in the whole wide world… that is until he meets a strange of many who give him a magical gift, a giant peach grows on the old tree in the garden and he goes on an adventure with Old Green Grasshopper and his insect friends.
You must be available for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons in the lead up to the production and to perform on Friday 1 June, Saturday 2 June at the theatre, plus – weather permitting – an open-air performance at Boultham Park on Sunday 3rd June.
